Some days your reminded of wonderful
memories of the past
that linger like a good friend
on a long welcomed visit.
Today, I woke remembering
my Paternal Grandmother singing
"Danny Boy" to me before
I feel asleep for naps
in her rosewater scented bed.
Grandma its been 21 years since you left us
Many more years before that
that you stopped singing to me
but that spcae and time is
just as real as if it where yesterday.
