You Betta Vote: Rupaul in New Hampshire "I am NOT Ron Paul"

Rupaul New Hampshire

There's no telling what might happen when America's best-known drag queen hits the presidential campaign trail.

Visiting New Hampshire just a few days before the state's primary, however, RuPaul made sure to clarify any lingering confusion voters may experience between him and that similarly-named Republican candidate, announcing, "I am not Ron Paul, and I am not running for president of the United States!"

The "Drag Race" host made a surprise appearance at Manchester's Red Arrow Diner, known as a must-stop on the presidential campaign trail, where scenes for the upcoming season of Logo's popular reality series, which debuts Jan. 30, were shot. Looking buttoned up as he interacting with guests, RuPaul whipped the crowd into a frenzy with a few choice quips. "You betta vote!" he told the crowd.

And anyone mistaking the drag queen for one of the nation's founding fathers actually wouldn't be too far off the mark, he noted: "Remember, this country was founded by a bunch of men wearing wigs!"

Ron Paul Defends His Position That People With AIDS Should Have Higher Health Care Costs

In 1987 in his book Freedom Under Siege Ron Paul wrote “The individual suffering from AIDS is certainly a victim, frequently a victim of his own lifestyle, but this same individual victimizes individual citizens by forcing them to pay for his care,”

On January 1st, 2012 Paul defended that statement in a Fox News interview with Chris Wallace . When asked if he still supported this position, Paul steadfastly maintained that people with AIDS often got the disease because of their personal behavior.

He added that the financial burden for their care should not be placed on “innocent” people. Paul would not deny people with AIDS health care insurance, but he would let the market and insurance companies sort it out, which of course would mean HIGHER health care and prescription costs that many cannot afford now.

By the same token I should no longer have to pay taxes for schools because I do not have children and those with with unhealthy diets who develop heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol or hypertension, smokers who develop lung disease, athletes who break bones, and the elderly who visit the doctor more to prolong their lives should have higher health and prescription costs as well.

Ron Paul should not be allowed to run for President Ron Paul let alone be allowed to be in public service as a “Doctor” his remarks are so inhumane and abominable that they stand against the hippocratic oath.
Ron Paul is a dangerous crazy old bastard.  Nothing more, nothing less.

Ron Paul's Website Boasts Of Endorsement From "Death To Gays" Christian Pastor

"In a society that was being converted, homosexuals could continue to be converted as they were in the church of Corinth. Even after a society implemented Biblical law and made homosexuality a crime, there are many checks and balances that would be in place. The civil government could not round them up. Only those who were prosecuted by citizens could be punished, and the punishment could take a number of forms, including death. This would have a tendency of driving homosexuals back into their closets. I think I have demonstrated how even capital punishment can be restorative. Other aspects of penology such as restitution, indentured servitude, etc. are certainly restorative." - Pastor Phil Kayser, from his 2009 book, Is The Death Penalty Just? Ron Paul's website is currently bragging about the endorsement of the "eminent" Keyser.

Ron Paul Won't Denounce Endorsements From Nazi And Other Extremist Groups

The New York Times reports:
The American Free Press, which markets books like “The Invention of the Jewish People” and “March of the Titans: A History of the White Race,” is urging its subscribers to help it send hundreds of copies of Ron Paul’s collected speeches to voters in New Hampshire. The book, it promises, will “Help Dr. Ron Paul Win the G.O.P. Nomination in 2012!” Don Black, director of the white nationalist Web site Stormfront, said in an interview that several dozen of his members were volunteering for Mr. Paul’s presidential campaign, and a site forum titled “Why is Ron Paul such a favorite here?” has no fewer than 24 pages of comments. “I understand he wins many fans because his monetary policy would hurt Jews,” read one.
