Scenes From A Wedding, Set To “Edge Of Glory”

Director Sean Penberthy took Lady Gaga’s love anthem, “Edge of Glory” and used it as the inspiration for this concept video, showing the courtship and wedding of a gay couple, played by Jason O’ffill and Joel Harrison. It’s gorgeously shot and sweet without being saccharine. “  This video is for everybody who has ever loved and has been loved in return,” Penberthy writes. “To those that think it never does or will get better. It does. It does get better—it becomes beautiful.”

Is Gaga Moving To Amish Country?

This story was all over the news: Lady Gaga might be buying a house in Amish Country.  Yes kids, you read that right---AMISH Country.

The pop mega-star, whose primary home is a rental in Bel Air, Calif., has been seen touring a $1.7M manor-style house in Lititz, Pa., of all places—her boyfriend, Taylor Kinney, grew up there and his parents own the place next door. The place, totaling 6,000 square feet, was built in 2006 and has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a formal dining room, two kitchens, and buttoned-up interior details such as crown moldings, wood banisters, built-ins, and marble floors.

If Gaga bought the place and decided she wanted to have a drink with The Gays, the Tally Ho Tavern (AKA "The Tacky Ho")  is just down the road in Lancaster. Yes Virginia, there IS a Gay Bar in the midst of Amish Country

Lady Gaga to be Honored with "Hero Award"

On Sunday, December 4, 2011, The Trevor Project will honor Lady Gaga with the Trevor Hero Award and Google Inc with the Trevor 2020 Award during "Trevor Live" at the Hollywood Palladium (6215 W Sunset Blvd, Hollywood, CA). The annual show benefits the life-saving work of The Trevor Project, a recent honoree of the White House as a Champion of Change for leadership and innovation in suicide prevention. The event’s presenting sponsors are Audi of America and ING.

The Trevor Live event in Los Angeles, which raises vital funds for The Trevor Project‘s suicide-prevention services, is a who’s who of celebrities. At least celebrities that have a soft spot for LGBT youth.

And when it comes to A-Listers who love gay kids, there’s none bigger than Lady Gaga, an honoree at this year’s event, taking place December 4 at the Hollywood Palladium.  She’s receiving the Trevor Hero Award for her advocacy on behalf of the gay community, while Google Inc. is getting Trevor 2020 Award for increasing visibility and understanding of LGBT issues and creating a model for gay-friendly workplaces.

“Our young people are at the center of a health crisis, and vocal leaders like Lady Gaga and technology leaders like Google Inc. have stepped up to help change our culture,” said Trevor Project director David McFarland. “Our honorees are working with The Trevor Project to make a better today and a brighter tomorrow for youth.”

More Lady Gaga Info about Thanksgiving Special

Lady Gaga is set to celebrate the annual national day of gratitude, family, and overindulgence with her own 90-minute prime-time Thanksgiving special on ABC reports MTV.com.

Airing November 24, aka Thanksgiving night, "A Very Gaga Thanksgiving," directed by Gaga, will feature the singer performing eight songs -- including recent hits like "You and I" and "The Edge of Glory," as well "The Lady is a Tramp," her duet with Tony Bennett, and the holiday favorite "White Christmas" -- in front of her family and closest friends.

The pop star will also be visiting Convent of the Sacred Heart Catholic School, which she and other famous women like Paris Hilton and Caroline Kennedy attended, to chat with news anchor Katie Couric about her life and career.

"We all know Lady Gaga is a phenomenon," Couric said in a statement. "This is a chance to see more of who she is beneath the wild costumes and staged musical numbers... Lady Gaga as a high school student still bruised by being excluded from the party, Lady Gaga as a devoted daughter and caring sister, Lady Gaga as a 25-year-old woman embracing fame and fortune that seemed to come overnight. She will impress you, delight you and surprise you."

And because Thanksgiving is nothing without the food, Gaga and chef Art Smith will whip up a few dishes, including deep-fried turkey and waffles reports CNN.

Along with preparing the release of her upcoming single, "Marry The Night," and preparing her next tour, Gaga, who is one of the busiest -- if not most famous -- women in the world, will perform on the U.K. version of "X Factor" on November 13.

She's also just announced she's launching The Born This Way Foundation, a nonprofit focusing on youth empowerment and "issues like self-confidence, well-being, anti-bullying, mentoring, and career development," with the help of the MacArthur Foundation and Harvard University.

Now the only question is: Will she be stuffed into a turkey dress on November 24?

ABC has scheduled A Very Gaga Thanksgiving to air on Thanksgiving day, Nov. 24. The telecast will feature eight performances in front of a small crowd by the singer and a sit-down interview with Katie Couric. The special, conceived and directed by Lady Gaga, will also feature appearances by Tony Bennett and chef Art Smith. Lady Gaga will perform a duet with Bennett ("The Lady Is a Tramp") and a slew of her songs, including "Marry the Night," "You and I" and "The Edge of Glory." She will also sing holiday songs like "White Christmas."

A very good friend of mine Megan Blankenship shared this on Facebook and well kids I thought it was freaking fantastic and had to be here.  I do have to say I find the "skeleton man" fascinating in a very odd sexy way and did you all notice the biohazrd mark on his chest?  I wonder if Theirry got that idea from some HIV+/AIDS diagnosed gay men who tattoo that logo somewhere on their body.  I know it sounds a bit bizarre but it seems for s certain group of gay men the in thing to do.  Whether one could get away with that kind of thing in Canton, Ohio is beyond me as I have yet to see anyone anywhere in Ohio with one, keep in mind I am also not out and about as I probably should be.  Anyway if you have thoughts on this let me know in the comment area.  Also does anybody know if this is the same fellow from the "Born This Way" video who is the "skeleton"?
