Rush Limbaugh Insists Jerry Sandusky Is 'A Gay Guy'

It was only a matter of time before we heard from  this idiot....I figured it would have been sooner....

Radio host Rush Limbaugh on Friday suggested that the “gay lobby” has pressured the media into not mentioning that Jerry Sandusky is “a gay guy,” Equality Matters reported.

Sandusky, a former coach at Penn State, has been accused of sexually molesting at least 8 underage boys, charges Sandusky has denied.

A caller said that “we're always told that homosexuals are not pedophiles, but in this case, he sure was. And the same thing with Michael Jackson.”

Limbaugh replied: “Sandusky does not represent all of all homosexuality, just like the priests in the Catholic Church don't represent all of homosexuality, just like the aberrant criminals in heterosexual society don't represent all heterosexuals.”

“But because the gay lobby is very powerful, people don't go there. People don't address it, they don't talk about it, and as such, an element of the problem never gets dealt with.”

Limbaugh added that “Sandusky has to be – he's a gay guy. Nobody's mentioning that aspect, because it's just too dangerous.”

I have been anxiously waiting to see this movie and now rumors have it that it will be pushed back to February so that it doesn't get lost in all of the other biopics that are coming out this holiday season.  What do you think about this movie by Madonna?  Does it seem like to many "English" inspired movies here lately?

New York Times: Talks about the Pavilion before the fire

 The New York Times took a sober look at the Pavilion, the legendary Fire Island Pines entertainment complex that burned down Monday night.

While it’s true the space has a history that pre-dates Stonewall and was, as writer Alex Williams writers,  “a site was a place where stigma and inhibitions were left at the coat check,” the Pavilion has been rebuilt and renovated before. And as anyone can tell you, its the people who make Fire Island what it is—not some wood planks and carpeting.
Williams got some notable homos to recount their memories of the Pavilion:

Joseph Altuzarra (designer): “The night before Hurricane Irene hit, when Fire Island hadn’t been evacuated yet, we went to the Pavilion for high tea. A hurricane was on its way, and most people were busy boarding their windows and closing up their houses, and yet people still came for a drink, to talk about the day, to dance and have some fun. Even an impending hurricane couldn’t keep us away.”

Aaron Hicklin (editor, Out magazine):  “I remember walking from Cherry Grove, through I guess what is called Meat Rack, with my boyfriend so we could dance in the Pavilion. Somewhere along the way, as we were leaving Cherry Grove, we were joined by a petty thief who was English and drunk, carrying a painting wrapped in a sheet that he brazenly announced had been stolen from a house minutes before. Somehow, this companion, who we never saw again, reinforced the idea of Fire Island Pines being a bit of a gay fable. Strange things happened there.”

DJ Robbie Leslie: “They had one of the most discriminating audiences in the world, and when a DJ was on his game, the dance floor knew it and showed their appreciation. If a DJ did poorly at the Pavilion, it could handicap or even destroy his career. That is how influential this little summer venue was.”

In the above clip, a commercial for Hudson Jeans modeled after Andy Warhol’s infamous “Screen Test” series, a shirtless Patrick gives us his version of Blue Steel while telling us to “choose the freedoms others take for granted.”

GLAAD Campaign: "Make Aunt Betty Feel Awkward"

In a campaign they're calling "Awkward Thanksgiving," GLAAD suggests you not just sit there at the family table this Thursday.

The LGBT community has a ton to be thankful for from the past year. But we also have a long way to go. And believe it or not, putting down that forkful of stuffing for a minute and just talking about yourself (if you're able to) this Thanksgiving can make a huge difference. We've all had those Thanksgiving dinners where Aunt Betty decides this is the perfect time to discuss a year's worth of ailments and medical treatments. Well, you know what? If she can talk about her polyp, you can talk about your partner.

The fact is, while you're scarfing down mashed potatoes and staying silent while everyone else at the table is freely speaking their minds, you're missing a golden opportunity to make real, honest progress by talking about your life, and the things you care about. It's okay if Aunt Betty feels a little awkward at first, it's important for her to know that someone she loves cares deeply about LGBT equality. And the more we all talk about what's important to us, the less awkward those conversations will become

Lady Gaga honored by The Trevor Project

The Trevor Live event in Los Angeles, which raises vital funds for The Trevor Project‘s suicide-prevention services, is a who’s who of celebrities. At least celebrities that have a soft spot for LGBT youth.

And when it comes to A-Listers who love gay kids, there’s none bigger than Lady Gaga, an honoree at this year’s event, taking place December 4 at the Hollywood Palladium.  She’s receiving the Trevor Hero Award for her advocacy on behalf of the gay community, while Google Inc. is getting Trevor 2020 Award for increasing visibility and understanding of LGBT issues and creating a model for gay-friendly workplaces.

“Our young people are at the center of a health crisis, and vocal leaders like Lady Gaga and technology leaders like Google Inc. have stepped up to help change our culture,” said Trevor Project director David McFarland. “Our honorees are working with The Trevor Project to make a better today and a brighter tomorrow for youth.”

 

Mother Monster’s not the only star hitting the stage that night: Neil Patrick Harris, Mary J. Blige, Queen Latifah and Glee‘s Darren Criss and Amber Riley are all scheduled to perform. Also making appearances are Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas, Will Arnett, Amber Heard, Christina Hendricks, Rashida Jones, Queen Latifah, Joe Manganiello, Zachary Quinto, Kyle Richards, Nicole Richie, Amber Riley,  Zoe Saldana, Amy Poehler, LeAnn Rimes, Matt Bomer, Jane Lynch, the cast of Glee and Modern Family, and many others.

"I Melt With You" with NSFW skinning dipping scene photos

In Mark Pellington’s 2011 movie, I Melt With You, perennially pretty Rob Lowe, Hung actor Thomas Jane, muscle cub Jeremy Piven and British actor Christian McKay play four high-school friends who all pledged to kill themselves if their lives sucked 25 years after high school.

The flick, now available On Demand, didn’t get rave reviews, but it does have a closeted character and, more importantly, a long sequence of the actors bare-ass naked and skinny-dipping (NSFW). It may well be the best part of the movie for those of you who have absolutely no intention of ever watching it.  By the way--your welcome <lol>  I think this is way better than the brief nude scene in "Burlesque".
